The Libyan Physical Therapy Association, in collaboration with the Department of Physiotherapy at the College of Medical Technology, Misrata, and supported by Al-Baraka Insurance Company, is organizing the “Best Speaker” Competition for students of the Physiotherapy Department at the College of Medical Technology, Misrata.

The competition will occur on Sunday, January 19, 2025, at 9:30 AM in the Late Dr. Bashir Al-Jabo Lecture Hall at the College of Medical Technology, Misrata.

1. Competition Overview

The competition aims to highlight students’ skills in public speaking, communication, and persuasion while fostering self-confidence and improving their ability to deliver presentations in front of an audience.

2. Rules and Conditions

Target Group:
Students from the Physiotherapy Department at the College of Medical Technology, Misrata.

Speaking Topic:
Any subject related to the field of Physiotherapy.

Speaking Duration:

  • 12 minutes for the presentation.
  • 5 minutes for discussion and Q&A.

3. Evaluation Criteria

Participants will be evaluated based on the following:

  • Speaking skills.
  • Clarity of the message.
  • Ability to influence and persuade.

4. Awards

Al-Baraka Insurance Company sponsors prizes and includes:

  • A certificate of appreciation and a trophy for the first-place winner.
  • A cash prize.
  • The first-place winner will also join the Libyan Physical Therapy Association’s debate team in the field of Physical Therapy, with specialized training and preparation.

7. Final Round
