The first edition of the “Best Speaker” Competition, dedicated to students of the Physiotherapy Department, has concluded successfully. The competition was organized by the Libyan Physical Therapy Association in collaboration with the Department of Physiotherapy at the College of Medical Technology, Misrata, and supported by Al-Baraka Insurance Company.
Held on Sunday, January 19, 2025, the competition witnessed strong rivalry among the participating students, who showcased their creativity and professionalism in presenting their topics related to Physiotherapy before a distinguished audience and evaluation panel.
Abrar Mohammed Abuazom was deservedly crowned the first-place winner, delivering an exceptional performance that impressed both the judges and the audience. Her victory qualifies her to represent the Physiotherapy Department at the College of Medical Technology, Misrata, in the national finals, where top students from various technical colleges across Libya will compete for the prestigious title of “Best Speaker in Libya.”
This initiative reflects the commitment of the Libyan Physical Therapy Association to supporting Physiotherapy students and enhancing their academic and personal skills. It aligns with the association’s vision to promote education and communication in the field, contributing to developing a promising generation capable of confidently representing Libya in local and international forums.
