Today, Dr. Qais Gasibat participated in the General Assembly of the Arab Confederation for Physical Therapy, held in Beirut, Lebanon. During the meeting, the presidency of the Confederation was transferred from Palestine to Lebanon, and a new Board of Directors was elected.
The election results were as follows:
- Dr. Sihda Sassin – President of the Arab Confederation for Physical Therapy (Lebanon)
- Dr. Qais Gasibat – Vice President of the Arab Confederation for Physical Therapy (Libya)
- Dr. George Bouari – Secretary-General (Lebanon)
- Dr. Mohamed Al-Mesiri – Assistant Secretary-General (Egypt)
- Dr. Abeer Al-Tajalli – Second Assistant Secretary-General (Kuwait)
- Dr. Mohamed Amro – Treasurer (Palestine)
- Dr. Mohamed Al-Homsi – Head of the Professional Committee (Syria)
- Dr. Alia Al-Ghuwairi – Head of the International Relations Committee (Jordan)
- Dr. Ahmed Al-Kharousi – Head of the Arab Relations Committee (Oman)
- Dr. Sheikha Al-Shamsi – Head of the Media Committee (UAE)
- Dr. Ahmed Habeeb – Head of the Scientific Committee (Sudan)
- Dr. Ahmed Hassan – Head of the Educational Committee (Yemen)
With this new leadership, the Arab Confederation for Physical Therapy continues its mission to strengthen Arab cooperation and advance the physiotherapy profession in ways that benefit both practitioners and patients across the Arab world.
